Charity of the Year 2021

Charity of the Year 2021

We are delighted to introduce Garsons ‘Charity of the Year’ for 2021.  With the terrible events of last year, charities were one of the hardest-hit industries in 2020. This year, with the help of our valued customers, we’re hoping we can support these very worthwhile causes with donations, fundraising and offering up our time.

‘PORTSMOUTH HOSPITALS CHARITY’ - GARSONS TITCHFIELD

Portsmouth Hospitals Charity raises funds to make a positive difference for the patients of Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. The NHS Trust provide a full range of services to more than 650,000 people across Portsmouth, South East Hampshire and West Sussex.

"We knew that this was the charity that we wanted to support this year. The medical team and all the staff have worked tirelessly through these awful times whilst continuing to offer such amazing care and services to our local community." Ben Thompson, Garsons Director

"Portsmouth Hospitals Charity and the Intensive Care Unit are delighted to be Garsons chosen charity of the year and we are looking forward to our partnership throughout 2021." Jodie Young, Fundraising Assistant, Portsmouth Hospitals Charity

‘PRINCESS ALICE HOSPICE’ - GARSONS ESHER

Princess Alice Hospice provides a range of services that respond to the individual needs of patients and their families so that they can live life to the full, create memories, share special moments and when the time comes, support them through, before and after the death of a loved one. We are extremely proud that Garsons Esher is partnering with Princess Alice Hospice once again.

"With this year being Garsons 150th anniversary, we wanted to partner with a wonderful local charity, and we couldn’t think of a more fitting one than themselves. We know that the hospice does an incredible job supporting and caring for so many individuals in our wider community. We are really looking forward to working with such a great team again, helping raise important funds." Ben Thompson, Garsons Director

"Garsons has been so much more than just a neighbour to Princess Alice Hospice for many years, providing support on so many levels and we are delighted to have been chosen as their charity of the year during their 150th celebrations. This year we’ve had the additional challenge of losing income from our shops and events, so this support is extremely valued.  We look forward to this partnership and all the opportunities it offers the Hospice to help us to ensure our compassionate care continues." Claire Woodward, Community Partnerships and Events Lead, Princess Alice Hospice
