Garsons is a family-run business and we're proud to be part of the local community. We actively support the community surrounding both our Surrey and Hampshire stores. We endeavour to help schools, charities, clubs and other organisations and fundraisers through sponsorship, donations, events, advice and giving up our time. If you would like our support, please email with details of your cause with plenty of notice, outlining the fundraising activity, and charities involved with a headed supporting cover letter where possible for consideration.

GROWING WITH SCHOOLS
We are always delighted to help young and budding gardeners flourish with sponsorship, donations and advice. Growing with Schools is Garsons gardening campaign designed to inspire a love of gardening in children. This is achieved through sponsorship, donations and advice from our team, given to local schools and playgroups. WICOR SCHOOL
Garsons Titchfield has been proud to have supported Wicor Primary School under the Growing with Schools scheme for over 10 years providing vouchers, plants, seeds, compost and planting advice, helping the school to achieve wonderful opportunities for young gardeners of the future. DANES HILL SCHOOL
Garsons were honoured to help Danes Hill, a local school to Garsons Esher, with this planting tribute which thoughtfully encouraged all the children to be involved in being able to mark a remembrance of the tragic loss of Lettie and Emma Pattison, through colour and new season life. ESHER C of E HIGH SCHOOL
With vouchers we provided, Esher C of E School purchased tools and pots to assist in the planting of over 600 tree saplings across their school grounds, with help from students. This donation also allowed for the purchase of wildflower seeds, which have been sown to create a designated wildflower patch on school grounds.
HELPING OUR LOCAL COMMUNITIES
We also donate to a range of good causes to help with their gardening endeavours, maintaining a strong and valued relationship with our local communities.
THE GARDEN OF LIFE
Garsons Titchfield was pleased to help support Queen Alexandra Hospital’s newly designed ‘Garden of Life’. The hospital, which is supported by our Charity of the Year Portsmouth Hospitals Charity, unveiled the garden in June 2021, to which we were honoured to be invited. Read more.
EFFINGHAM JUNCTION STATION
We were delighted to help support the local volunteer community by donating a selection of plants and compost to refresh Effingham Junction's planters this autumn. The small train station is located a short distance away from our Esher site. Read more.
