CALLING ALL ARTISTS... GARSONS CHRISTMAS SHIELD COMPETITION

Entry Deadline Sunday 8th September at 5pm 2024

Yay, it’s the summer holidays! This means at Garsons we are busy planning, building and crafting our famous #ChristmasatGarsons!
Again, this year, we welcome you to participate in our Christmas to have your artwork enlarged and proudly displayed. 

Pick up an artists template instore, and hand in your original artwork to our Customer Services desk, or email to marketing@garsons.co.uk

Imagine you were given your very own special shield by Father Christmas, what would it look like? 

• Why not design a coat of arms for your family?
• Or draw your favourite Christmas memory or Christmas family event?
• Would it contain your favourite animal or pet?
• Or what about something you love to do, your favourite hobby or a magical dream world? 

It’s your special shield, the possibilities are endless, limited by your imagination!

Open to all ages, from pre-school to adults. 

Please read the artwork guidelines very carefully before starting your masterpiece. BEST OF LUCK! 

ARTWORK GUIDELINES

• Artwork can be drawn or painted using any of the following: pencils, pen & ink, charcoal, pastels, watercolour, acrylics, oils, collage and even digital.
• Avoid using glitter or metallics because they may not show effectively in the final print.
• Avoid adding lots of text to the image.
• Artwork must be completed using the template provided within the template lines.
• The original artwork must be handed in or sent to us, we will keep them safe should you want the original back.

COMPETITION RULES

You can enter as many times as you like. The competition is free to enter. Entrants must fully complete the entry form to be contacted in the event that they win. Entrants under 16 must get consent from their parent(s) or legal guardian(s). Please provide the parent's email address in the contact form. Entries must be originals of the named entrant. The judging panel is responsible for the selection of the winners, and the judge’s decision is final. Winners will be notified before the end of September.

The competition closes on Monday 9th September at 5pm 2024. Any entries received after this time will not be included in the competition, unless agreed otherwise. Or an extension has been published. 

COMPETITION WINNERS

Each winner will have their artwork enlarged and displayed in-store for the duration of #ChristmasatGarsons

The winners will also receive a small prize, which will be available to collect in-store before Christmas, you will be notified of this date, if successful.
